- Self Guided Snowmobiling from Jackson Hole
- If you are staying in the Jackson Hole area and would like to go snowmobiling without
a guide, the Greys River is the place for you. Rated by Snowwest magazine in the top 10
places to ride in the west, the Greys River is a very easy to follow, well marked, trail
system following many miles of Wyoming's most pristine River. Shadowing the river valley
are the Wyoming and Salt River Mountain ranges. Many 9,000 plus foot peaks provide
breathtaking scenery and world-class off-trail riding. Gas and lunch are available at the
Box Y lodge 28 miles along the trail system. Meet us at our location in Alpine or let us
pick you up in Jackson. We will provide you with any needed clothing, helmet, trail map,
instruction, and a well maintained Polaris or Ski-Doo Snowmobile.

Message from the owner
Thank you for visiting our website. If you are shopping for the right rental company,
please take a moment to read this and take into account the following: I am the owner
and operator of Rockin' M Snowmobile Rentals. I am an avid snowmobiler and have been
in the rental and guiding business for over 15 years. I take a lot of pride in keeping
our sleds in near perfect condition. I understand how a previously damaged or poorly
running sled can make or break a day. I personally check the sleds over daily. As far
as pricing and comparing our rentals to some of the Jackson based rental companies, please
realize that our sales tax is 5% rather than 6% as in Jackson. We also do not charge a
5.5% environmental recovery surcharge as do some of the Jackson rental companies. Also take
in consideration the hours of the rental. There is nothing worse than having to head out
early from the top of a mountain on a bright, sunny day to get your rental sled back by 4 or 5.
We are more lenient and will work with you, usually a few hours more than the competition. Most
importantly, I try to make your experience as easy as possible. Often, we deliver your snowmobiles
right to the Greys River trailhead for you. This eliminates all the hassles of trailering including
the trailer, tow vehicle, and extra fuel involved. Less time trailering means more time riding.
We hope to hear from you!
Sincerely, Rob
