What is the difference between a guest ranch and rockin M Ranch?
What is the difference between Rockin’ M and a typical guest ranch, not much. Technically we are zoned as a guest ranch, but our staff doesn’t serve meals or provide evening entertainment. We have a location like no other lodging facility in the region. Cabins have fully stocked kitchens along with a gas grill. Hot tubs are also onsite. Many restaurants are within an easy 10 minute drive.

Our Location
Our location on the banks of the Salt River and 400 acres of river bottom allow our guests access to world class fly fishing for cutthroat and brown trout, literally within a rocks throw of your cabin. Also on site we offer daily National Forest horseback trail rides and we also offer horseback fly fishing trips along with guided drift boat fly fishing trips.
Ranch Activities
We have found over the years that many guests rarely leave the ranch property after they realize how many great activities can be done on-site. Our guests enjoy the ambience of the horses coming and going throughout the day. Kids love treating the horses with carrots in the evening. It is not uncommon for the parents to enjoy a beverage on their cabin deck while taking in the mountain sunset as the kids fish for trout in the nearby ponds and river.
Many of our guests enjoy their evenings around the camp fire making s’mores, roasting hot dogs, or playing a game of horse shoes with family and friends. If you are entertaining the idea of a guest ranch vacation but may not like the high price or perhaps you prefer a more laid back vacation with less structure, you just found the right place. Please continue to visit our website for more details of what we have to offer.
