Rockin’ M Ranch Salt River Fly Fishing Report
I have been guiding fly fishing trips on the Salt River nearly every day for the last 10 days. The first trips were at river levels of 2200 CFS. We were picking up a few fish, yet pretty tough. Every day since then the river has been on a steady decline and the fishing has been improving daily. The Salt River is now running about 1200 CFS and has about 4-5 feet of visibility. Yesterdays trip produced about 40-50 fish. All methods are working, including dries nymphs and streamers. On a daily basis I am seeing Green and Gray Drakes along with Yellow Sallies. I have several days available for guiding. Give me a call 307-654-2288. Thanks for reading….Rob
