Snow Report Rockin’ M Ranch Alpine, Wyoming
December 19, 2013
About an inch of new snow over night here at the cabins and snowing lightly right now. The prediction is for some snow now and through the end of the weekend for the Alpine and Jackson Hole areas. Reports are coming back of thigh to waist deep snow up high. Snotel sites have settled down to about three feet. Still pretty thin on the valley floor, maybe three to five inches, but enough to unload at the trailheads and get up high. To put it in perspective Blind Bull is at 97% of the thirty year average for this day of the year and willow creek is 95%. We would certainly take more, but it isn’t as bad as it looks from driving through the valley. The Box Y opens Saturday. Will report back at the end of this weekend.
