January 11, 2017 Alpine, Wyoming Snow Report Rockin’ M Ranch
Still snowing hard here at the cabins this morning. The forecast is for it to taper down this afternoon and clear out for the weekend. This last four day storm has dumped a huge amount in the mountains. The Valley picked up more than a foot in the last four days. I have not seen the snotel sites make such a large jump in such a short time as they have in the last five days. Blind Bull went from 56″ to 91″, and the South ends is now 88″. It is still snowing. It appears that the mountains picked up 30+” of snow over the last four days. The snow pack for the area is now 140% of average. The next week of riding is going to be awesome!!
