Holy $%!t!! Every now and then the stars line up just right and Alpine gets pounded. I leave my house at 11:00 a.m. to go to Idaho Falls. A few flakes and some rain in Idaho. I drive back about 10:00 p.m. this evening, maybe 4-6 inches of new around Palisades. Get close to Alpine and notice everyones’ car with a substantial amount of snow. Get to the cabins at the Rockin’ M, and I measured 14″ of snow in my driveway and on my truck and still snowing. I thought the good riding was done. The next two or three days are going to be incredible. Snotel sites are showing 18-20″ of new snow on the stick in the last week (Blindbull and Willow), which after settling probably means 2-3 feet of new in many locations.
